Fast Curing: It has demold time of 6 hours and will cure at 37° F temperature virtually over any surface..
Easy to Use: With right mixture, it is very simple to put this to use. RTV Part-A and Part-B should be mixed in the ratio of 10:1 by weight. Mixture provides long working time so that you can make changes or set it up the way you want with ease. It is recommended to provide it 8-12 hours for curing to get the preferable result. RTV Silicone Rubber is specially used for mold making applications where greater dimension stability is required. It has excellent tear strength. It is 2 component system which cures in 24 hours @ 25C. To accelerate curing process, elevated temperature may be used (at 60C for 120 min or 170C for 10 min). It can be used to cast epoxy, polyester, soap, concrete, candies, Polyurethane, cement, fiberglass resin, etc. RTV-A and RTV-B both will be came in a pack. Specification: * Uncured properties * Base Compound: RTV-A * Appearance: Translucent * Viscosity (at 23°C, mPa.s): 51500 * Cure Agent: RTV-B * Appearance: Transparent * Viscosity (at 23C mPa.s): 300 * Cured Properties (23C, 24 hrs.) * Appearance: Translucent * Mixing Ration (RTV-A : RTV-B): 10:1 by weight * Mixed Viscosity (at 23C, mPa.s): 26000 * Work Time (min at 23C): 60 * Demold Time (hours at 23C): 6 * Hardness (Type-A): 40 * Tensile Strength (MPa /PSI): 6.5/942 * Elongation (%): 450 * Tear strength B type (N/mm): 20 User Guide: * Weight Properly both grades and accordingly mix as per ration suggested * After mixing extract remaining entrap air with help of vacuum chamber * If you do not have vacuum chamber than brush spread uniformly over the surface of the master first until all air pockets on the surface have been removed * Start pouring the mixture properly on the master till it is completely covered * The mold after pouring can be placed in desing chamber if required to further remove entrapped air if any * Once the rubber cures completely separate the master & silicone mold, curing time depend upon size of mold, but 8 – 12 hrs. are recommended for best result * Curing time also can be shortened by provision of heat during curing process
