This is easily one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever eaten in my life. It’s insane to think this cake came from a box mix, but it’s also GLUTEN FREE?!?! I am amazed! It is so yummy! The cake holds shape perfectly and yet it’s still decadent and moist. Just take a look at the photo I put on this review and it shows you exactly what I mean. I made cupcakes with the mix. I cooked it for the exact minimum amount of time and every single cupcake came out perfectly even though I personally don’t tend to fill the tins all equally. You seriously cannot mess this mix up- it is so ways to make and so amazingly delicious. Thank you for my new yearly birthday cake mix! It truly is decadent! 😋

I have to tell you I never ever ever bake from a mix. I’ve been baking for 50 years. I always bake from scratch. I make a delicious chocolate cake that everybody loves. I have a friend that’s gluten-free so I got this mix and it is better than any cake I’ve ever made seriously. I use my buttercream frosting that I use unsweetened chocolate that I melted. And it was top of the line. What I did is, I didn’t use oil. I used melted butter, which I always do and I used hot water. Hot water, activates the chocolate in a way that makes a difference ( Martha Stewart recommendation) that’s all I did differently! And it is one of the best cakes I’ve ever made. I usually hate gluten free cakes because they are gritty. Highly highly highly recommend. I never write reviews with this mix is amazing.
