Can i use my iphone to film? instead of a dslr camera? if so how do i connect it?

Yes, you can use your iPhone to film. The top plate of this Teleprompter has a front slot that allows you to connect smartphones and small cameras. Would I be able to use this with my GoPro camera?

Yes, you can use a sports camera like GoPro, a webcam or even a mobile phone. If you use a sports camera with wide angle lens, you should set the viewing angle (zoom) to avoid seeing the glass frame of the Teleprompter. For hook it you need a holder or mount with standard tripod screw at his base. As you can see in the photo detail, the top plate is perforated to allow small devices mounted near the glass.

Will it hold a tablet with the dimensions: 10.47 x 6.77 x 0.27 in?

The maximum width in the model TeleprompterPAD 10" is currently 10.20" (now in September 2017). The other dimensions of your tablet fit perfectly but the width exceeds.
