Good book club book

I’ve never read a book before that had such a profound impact on me. I have been with my spouse for 31 years and have never known how to pray for him until now. I purchased The Power of a Praying Husband for his birthday present because I was so impressed with this book. Buy one for all of your married friends and make sure and get the study guide to accompany it because there are things that I have never thought about before that opened up my heart to what my husband needs!

The original book is the BEST purchase if you are looking for just ONE purchase. THIS book is the STUDY GUIDE. It does not contain any prayers or content from the actual book. It is ONLY a book of study questions to act as a companion to the original book. If you are in a study group, looking to lead one, or even if you just want to study more on your own, you want to purchase this in addition to the original book, the study questions make you think and evaluate your relationship with your spouse and focus on improving your prayer life. I highly recommend all of the books; just be aware of which one you are purchasing, each series uses the same cover art on all three books.

I am only on the 3rd “week” of this study, but it is already so powerful! I can feel myself changing and becoming more aware of how I am falling short, of not only my husband, but God. And also, how short I have fallen in covering my husband in prayer. I am thankful and excited for this study, so that I can learn to fervently pray for my husband. Thank you Stormie, for this well thought out and well written study guide! It has allowed me to really consider myself, and ask questions, I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. I just added power of a praying parent to my Amazon cart, and plan on doing it alongside this study. I am excited to see how the Lord moves for my family as I do these studies.

So...this is the study guide. Don't buy it in place of the original book. This is the companion. I've used it while teaching a class on the book but find that many of the questions are rhetorical and personal. I pick out my favorite questions and use them with the group. Great for personal use. Highly recommend The Power of a Praying wife book! The original book is amazing and life-changing!
