iFixit Anti-Static Project Tray - Small Parts and Screws Holder for Organization

Perfect for working on small electronics. It's the size of a standard letter size paper so I made a printable template that I can write on to sit underneath it to label the compartments.

It’s a decent place to organize parts for a more complicated job. It’s light plastic so prone to getting jostled. That’s fine if all the components have the same screws and each goes in its own section and you’ve memorized all the different screws, but not so suited to when you want to arrange the screws by location to remind you. You know what would be killer? If the larger section were to have a magnet sheet bottom so you can arrange screws by location. I put a little phone-shaped piece of magnet sheet into the large section and it’s really helps with random screw lengths that I’m not going to remember.

I own four of these trays. I bought my first one at a local store, then I ordered more from Amazon because I find them so useful. These are great for storing and organizing screws, parts and tools for a project. I shuffle between projects frequently so I sometimes put one project away for a while and get out another one. These trays are a great help with that. Since I'm working with electronics, it's also important to me that these trays are ESD safe. These trays are somewhat flexible. They will bend and flex if you try to bend or flex them. So if you expect the trays to be completely rigid, they aren't that. The plastic is not as thin as the crinkly plastic trays from valentine's candy or a package of cookies as some have claimed. But it's not thick plastic either. It's about the same weight as those annoying clear plastic packages that so many retail products come in anymore. I feel the important point is that the trays be strong enough to do the job they're designed for, and I believe they are. As some others, I would like it if these trays were more rigid but I still really like them. I also wish they came with lids. Some tips: -The tray is clear, so you can place a sheet of paper under it to label the compartments. -These are less flexible than they appear and can crack if they are bent or twisted too far.

Good quality and came in real handy when working on an MacBook Pro.

It’s made from thin, rigid plastic that feels more like product packaging than a durable tool tray. It works fine for tabletop use, but it’s not something you’d want to drop or stack. There’s also no lid or magnetization, so a single bump could scatter everything if you’re not careful. At around seven dollars, it’s still useful for light repair work or occasional organization—but for daily tech work, a sturdier or magnetic option would be worth the upgrade. Bottom line: A practical and functional screw sorter for casual repair projects, but the lightweight plastic makes it feel flimsier than expected for the price.

N'ayant pas regarder les dimensions, je m'attendais à quelques choses de plus petit pour ce prix. Certes, ça reste un morceau de plastique moulé donc ça peut dans tous les cas paraitre cher MAIS QU'EST CE QUE C'EST PRATIQUE!!!!!! Fini les bols sur le bureau ou les gros rouleau de stock pour empêcher les vis de se barrer à droite à gauche. Je recommande à tous ce qui monte & démonte des PC régulièrement mais aussi au bricoleur de petit article high tech, téléphone, mini enceintes etc...

Primeramente, el producto llegó en buenas condiciones, sin daños. Cómo lo menciona la descripción, es una bandeja para almacenar diferentes piezas electrónicas, así como tornillos los cuáles se pueden organizar muy bien. Sin embargo sería muy útil que tuviera una tapa, ya sea separada de la bandeja y entrara a presión, o como parte de la misma bandeja, esto lo menciono porque si está bandeja se coloca en un lugar donde se pueda caer o voltear por un descuido del usuario, puede provocar un problema al tener desparramado todo lo que se tenía dentro. Pero aún así es de mucha ayuda está bandeja, sobre todo por estar construida de material antiestático, con lo cual puede evitar daños en componentes electrónicos. En cuanto al material que es plástico, este es blando, y dependiendo del uso, se puede romper o maltratar con facilidad. Así pues, el tamaño es adecuado para almacenar bastantes componentes, los compartimientos más amplios, son muy útiles para componentes más grandes, y los compartimientos más pequeños, pueden servir para tornillos y componentes de dispositivos como celulares. En definitiva es un exelente producto, solo los detalles que mencioné anteriormenteo lo harían mucho mejor para los que nos dedicamos a reparaciones electrónicas. Por eso le doy las 5 estrellas.
