To be honest it’s a large bag I wouldn’t know how to describe flavor for a compost that’s just weird 😂, but it needs to be broken down a tad bit more, it has a lot of chunks. But I found bugs I don’t know what type they are and I had to contact the company about this. They got back to me, I appreciate Anita Dafonte, Very much they completely satisfied me I was never unhappy with the products just so you’re aware. It was just unfortunate, and I’m glad I caught it, because I wouldn’t know how it would affect my grow. They did everything they could to make me happy, I am extremely satisfied with your Product Coast Of Maine if you want a successful crop this is definitely the way to grow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

super great compost, overly expensive if u cant find local or somewhere else. Shouldnt be more than $15 imo.....guess depends on where u live. most garden places who carry coast of maine only have the cow manure compost and a few others. amazing high end products though. work very well in organics and true living organics..

I was concerned that this product would be damaged during the shipping process based on reviews that I had read, but when I was able to scoop up 3 bags at an amazing price with free shipping, I decided to take a chance. I am so happy I did! Each bag came shipped in a separate box with absolutely no damage of any kind. I am looking forward to adding this product to my garden beds as I have read many good things about it.

This is nice and rich I found 3 small peices of something in whole bag but still has not put me off this. I will be purchasing this from now on. That's 5 or 6 cubic feet a year. It keeps my container girls very happy I also use it for my indoor plants.

This is compost for garden. Lobster shells must provide extra Calcium. Whatever the composition, my vegetables did better than ever

I love this stuff! Pricy, but your soil is transformed! Made an "expert gardener" out of this novice! Just one note...animals love lobster! Even my pups root around the areas where I filled in with this soil enhancer a full year later. That's not a big downside to me as I live in a sort of urban area, but if a person lived where there was more wildlife it might be something to consider.

I used this in my garden for my tomatoes this year...made sure I didnt overload it because it was a new product I never used before.....my tomato plants came up with MORE LEAVES which were prolific and less tomatoes...although most of mine are still outside and green due to me planting them late....I found that the leaves of my tomatoes were so much more than the tomatoes were...would rather have the opposite effect. great if you want to grow leaves.
