SURE LOCK TSA Compatible Travel Luggage Locks, Inspection Indicator, Easy Read Dials TSA Approved with Zinc Alloy, Green 2 Pack, Earnest

These SURE LOCK TSA-approved luggage locks are a practical addition to my travel gear. I like having a little extra security on my suitcase or travel bag, especially when checking luggage, and the two-pack gives me enough to secure more than one bag without having to purchase the locks individually. The three-digit combination is much more convenient for travel than carrying another small key that can easily get lost. Once the combination is set, the lock is straightforward to use, and I don't have to keep track of anything else. Just make sure you remember the combination you select. I also like the flexible cable design. Compared with a rigid lock, the cable provides some additional flexibility when working with different zipper pulls and luggage configurations. That makes these useful beyond just a traditional suitcase—they can also work well with compatible backpacks and other travel bags. The TSA-approved design is important when using a lock on checked luggage. It allows authorized TSA personnel to open the lock with the appropriate access tool when an inspection is necessary rather than having to cut off a standard lock. One of the more useful features is the open-alert indicator. If the lock has been opened using the TSA access mechanism, the indicator is designed to let you know. It doesn't prevent a TSA inspection, of course, but I like having an indication that the bag may have been opened during its journey. These are primarily a deterrent against casual access rather than a substitute for keeping valuables with you. I still wouldn't put irreplaceable or particularly valuable items in checked luggage simply because the suitcase has a lock on it. Overall, these are convenient travel locks with a nice combination of features. The three-digit combination eliminates keys, the flexible cable is easy to work with, and the open-alert indicator is a thoughtful addition. Getting two in the package makes them an especially useful set for anyone who travels with multiple bags.
