Great gravel tire if your bike fits them
I put the 29x2.0 on my gravel bike, replacing Specialized Pathfinder Pro 700x47's, set up tubeless. I've done a couple of rides on them now, I'd say rolling resistance wise they feel pretty good, comparable to the pathfinder pro's which I surprised at, cornering and braking grip there is no comparison, the race kings are awesome, rode with some friends at the weekend who are on Rambler 40 and 42's and the increase in my cornering speed to theirs was significant as well. I am impressed, and for $50 a tire they are a bargain, I wish I'd got rid of the pathfinder pro's a long time ago now, they were great in a straight line but that's about it.

Solid, Fast XC Tire
Ultra fast on hardpack and gravel, rolled really smoothly. I ran them with tubes, usually around 55–60 psi for pavement and closer to 45 psi for trails, and they handled great at both pressures. They weren’t really asphalt commuters but worked pretty good in a pinch, smooth and quiet enough that I didn’t mind a few miles on the road. I could still feel a bit of vibration from the knobs, but it was much less than I expected for a mountain bike tire. However, grip was MAGICAL on dry and mixed trails. Not so hot through mud or wet/slippery roots, that just wasn’t their thing. Overall an excellent XC tire!

Good all around tire.
This is a great tire for trail riders that ride to the park. These are great on pavement, roll easy and smooth. I can lean the bike in a corner no issues. The trails I ride are mostly hard pack with loose rocks around. These cross kings have surprisingly good grip in the trails. The tread wears slowly on the street so these tires can last longer than others I tried. There are better tires for off road but for someone who rides both these are really great. I’ve bought 3 now.

Nice, difficult to get an aligned seat, use soapy water & take them to 41psi if warbly on the rim
Seems like a decent tire the Trail King 29er, couldn't afford another Mountain King this time around. Good tread for front, real nightmare to mount this tire. It is a nice tire but, took me over 4 hours of constant work, the tire would seal nicely but appeared deformed, re-seated many many times, at length I used soapy water on the rim and inflated to 41 psi, after a few more tries eventually the tire sorted out. Pumping up a MTB tire 20 times in one night is a bit much. If I had thought to use soapy water firstly... My Maxxis Aggressor was one & done, same rim no issues whatsoever with mounting or seating. The Continental has excellent seal and looks really good on the bike. The writing on the tire is all silver. It came cable tied which might have contributed to the difficulty mounting the tire though I gave it 2 days open and never had this sort of tire mounting issue before with a modern MTB tire so, gotta tell ya that was a disappointment. Really a wonderful thing though, new rubber. if I were a bike pro mechanic I would have gotten it right the first time. I used 100ml of sealant, we will see how it does. WTB which doesn't run well through thin injectors.

Great tires and fast shipping

Secret weapons
Though unsuspecting, these tires hook up, hold up and keep the rotational weight low. Cost effective as well, but price aside they are hands down my favorite XC tire.

Commuters and road bikers must have
I used these with standard tubes. They grip the road like duct tape on a sweater. Glides turns, grips corners, it's a dream. Worth the price. They come packed folded, not too difficult, just pinch it back into shape. I recommend highly that you partly inflate your tubes before installation, because these tires are soft and flexible and will bead different than normal tires. If you slip one ring on, tuck it, then go all the way around with a tool running the bead in, or by hand if you're stronger, pull it all the way around. Simple enough. I will detail the pros and cons based on my experience in the past month+ of use. Pros: grippy, handles cement, dominates asphalt, manages dirt and rock flatground and trail(poorly, but acceptably considering it's specifically made for pavement), quiet on road, No detectable performance lost in torrential rain or wet conditions, sets up easily, seems to hold air in tubes better, good value. **Disclaimer: bearing in mind that these are specifically designated for road use and using products against manufacturer recommendation isn't advisable** Cons/risks: not suitable for dirt and rock, unacceptably damaged by rock/Rocky soil, abrasive terrain of any kind is 1.5x damaging compared to Kenda standard tires. All things considered, you get exactly what you pay for, exactly what they say it does, all for a reasonable value.

Like riding on the tire, it's the widest I can get on the bike
I like this tire and it replaced a narrow tire on the rear of my mountain bike that had a very flat profile and was somewhat narrow. I had an older version of this tire on the front so that's why I bought another for the back. I don't really ride assertive/fast but I can feel that I get a bit more traction and the tire being fatter than what I had I feel a get a slightly more cushioned ride. And even though it is on the back it does have a rounder profile than what was there and it seems that just maybe that helps with turning. Hard to tell about that because I did some other mods to the bike as the same time I installed this tire. It was a bit difficult to put on the rim. Not the hardest one I've ever put on but not the easiest either. So it goes, just meant I had to really concentrate on what I was doing and use the really big plastic tire irons I have instead instead of the little puny ones I seem to always get in the package when I buy tubes. BTW, one one I bought was for a 26" rim.

So far, brilliant. Replacing kenda kadre on my customised carrera vengeance pushiron. 27.5×2.2, rear only as ill run cross king front. Can feel the difference in initial acceleration and less of a difference in speed when going from asphalt to hard but not solid mud n grass. Not had my computer checking speed yet but ill let you know if i end up having a higher top speed, i reckon ittl be about 2 or 3mph in a downhill sprint
